Black ski runs for adrenalin junkies
The Schmittenhöhe in Salzburg offers six black runs of 19 km for those ones who are looking for adrenalin on the pistes. If you have already ordered your ski tickets online, you can directly go to the top of the mountain by using the lifts and start your ski runs on one of the challenging black pistes with an amazing view on the valley.
Red ski runs for experienced skiers
There are also many red moderate pistes in the ski area of the Schmitten that are perfect for experienced skiers who like to discover the mountain with its 17 red pistes having a total length of 28 km. Besides, skiers always fall in love with the breath-taking views on the mountainside and Zell am See. After a few ski runs, it is always recommended to take a break on top of the Schmittenhöhe by relaxing at one of the ski huts in order to get some power for further runs on the varied pistes.
Blue runs for beginners
The 15 blue ski runs on the Schmittenhöhe have a total length of 30 km and are perfect for skiing beginners, children and those skiers who like to get familiar again with the pistes after a long summer break. We always recommend a stop at one of the ski huts where you can relax on the terraces and enjoy amazing views on the surrounding mountains. After a short break you are ready for further ski runs on blue, red or even black pistes in the ski area Schmitten in Zell am See.
