The ski resort of Zell am See lies right at the heart of the Salzburger Land region – on the sunny side of Austria. Facing south, the Schmitten gets plenty of hours of sunlight throughout the entire winter season.

Winter sports fans can look forward to 77 kilometres of slopes each year. They’re all perfectly groomed and ready to be conquered. Add to that 28 facilities – among them the cable cars, lifts and tow lifts that ensure you can move around swiftly up on the mountain. That leaves you with even more time to enjoy the slopes of the Schmitten …

Usefull information: please note that a rescue fee will be charged (depending on the time and effort involved). Our ski patrol and rescue service supervises only marked and open slopes – other areas used at your own risk!
