21st International Schmitten Cup
After a break of several years, the IKARUS Club Pinzgau is once again the host of the 21st International Schmitten Cup, where over 150 top athletes will compete. This central competition flying, colloquially also called league flying, is the top class in paragliding. This is where the best international and national pilots are determined.
Weather permitting, the pilots will take off from the Schmittenhöhe on all three days of the competition (27-29 May) at around 11:00 am. Landing will take place on the meadow next to the open-air swimming pool in Piesendorf, where the athletes are expected from approx. 14.00-15.00. The IKARUS Club Pinzgau is already looking forward to a great event with perfect thermals and numerous spectators on the mountain or in the valley.
