Ski courses for kids on the Schmittenhöhe

At the Schmitten ski resort in the Zell am See-Kaprun region, you can look forward to an all-round carefree package for your family holiday. Alongside special children’s lifts, kids’ areas and diverse descents, your little ones are perfectly looked after on the slopes. 

In special kids’ ski courses, future slope stars playfully learn what it means to stand on skis. Skilled and trained skiing instructors support them on their first lift rides and teach them valuable tips and rules for safe descents. That’s how they can soon collect their first few kilometres on the slopes.

Jukeboxx and Nightslope as special family highlights

Starting your family ski day with a truly special experience? Nothing’s easier than that with the six Jukeboxx cable cars on the Schmitten in Zell am See! They’ll take you up the mountain while listening to your favourite hits – and afterwards, you can swoosh down the slopes in high spirits. How does that work? Easy – just connect your smartphone to the Jukeboxx App via WiFi. Try it when you get a chance. But be careful: You’re bound to have the songs stuck in your head for a while! 

End your day on the slopes just like it started – on the Nightslope of Zell’s landmark mountain! Night-time skiing is possible on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Good to know: This nocturnal ski fun is included in the price of your day ski pass. 

Family-friendly winter tickets for Zell’s landmark mountain

You’ve already booked your ski holiday with the whole family? Great! Then you should find out more about the various winter tickets for the Schmitten in the Zell am See-Kaprun region! Did you know, for instance, that small children can use the cable cars and lifts for free if accompanied by an adult? Apart from that, ski pass prices are staggered by age – with special tickets for adults, youths and kids.
