Float comfortably with our Porsche Design gondola up the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See and enjoy the magnificent view of 30 peaks over three thousand meters high. Immerse yourself in the history of the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See with a visit to our exhibition “Tradition and Innovation since 1927”, or follow in the footsteps of Empress Sisi at the “Elisabeth Chapel” named after her.

Afterwards, we will serve you a meal at the restaurant of the Berghotel Schmittenhöhe to recharge your energy.

The classic – The Höhenpromenade (high-altitude promenade)

Enjoy the mountain ride with our Sonnenalmbahn and experience even more comfort with our brand-new combination lift, the Sonnkogelbahn.

Hike along our adventure trail “Höhenpromenade” in about one hour from the Sonnkogel to the Berghotel at a leisurely pace and enjoy a delicious meal at the Berghotel restaurant with breathtaking views.

Schmitten "Last Minute" Package

Make the most of the day – with our “Last Minute Ticket”, available daily from 2:30 p.m., you can quickly head up the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See. Discover the fascination of the Elisabeth Chapel or take a leisurely walk along the Sisi trail before enjoying coffee and cake on the terrace of the Berghotel restaurant with breathtaking views.
