What are the corona rules in the ski area?

Important information in advance: Because of their activity, lift and cable car companies are subject to regulations that affect public transport. The ordinances of the Austrian Federal Government are the basis for a number of measures to protect all guests and employees. For a good and safe coexistence in the ski area, the following instructions currently apply:

  • FFP2 mask (without valve)

It is compulsory to wear this for all cable car systems and also in appropriately marked areas! From the age of 6 years onwards, wearing conventional mouth-nose-protection is compulsory.

  • keep distance
  • general hygiene rules
  • follow the instructions of the employees
  • individual responsibility

In addition to the precautions and measures taken by the Alpin Card partners, we appeal to our visitors to take responsibility for mutual consideration and compliance with the safety and hygiene measures.

Due to the official requirements of the Austrian Federal Government and the positive findings from the summer season, the Schmittenhöhebahn AG has developed an optimized COVID-19 package of measures with an increased focus on safety and health, in order to enable guests to enjoy wonderful days of skiing this winter!

  • Minimum distances: In the mountain restaurants, we pay attention to the officially ordered minimum distances between tables and seating. We also installed new partitions in the seating areas and adapted and expanded the hygiene measures in the free-flow areas.

The data will be deleted from the system after 28 days in compliance with data protection regulations (concept from TVB)
