The lakeside promenade: a walk around Lake Zell

How about a leisurely stroll along the shoreline? On the promenade, you can walk around the entire lake. Experience nature (right) at Lake Zell: The western part of the route (almost) exclusively follows the lakeside road. In addition, the terrain remains relatively flat throughout – perfect for families with children and strollers.

Our tip: If the entire 11-kilometer loop seems a bit long for you, you can take the boat from Thumersbach back to Zell am See.

Moments in privacy: boat charters on Lake Zell

You’ve always wanted to have a boat all to yourself? In Zell am See – Kaprun, this dream can become a reality. You can either enjoy the nostalgic flair of the "Libelle" with friends and family or charter the "MS Schmittenhöhe" for a one-of-a-kind company event.
