Family von Trapp lived in Thumersbach on the east shore of Lake Zell for many years. This time shpaed the family and music has always been an important part of the family life. Later on the story of family von Trapp got world famous as "The Sound of Music".

Why was the name "Maria Franziska von Trapp" chosen for the new electric boat?

Maria Franziska von Trapp was the first born child of the family, who was born in Thumersbach. Her childhoof at the Erlhof took place during the years, in which music became an integral part of the family life, and the roots of the story that would later become world-famous as "The Sound of Music" began to shape.

Today the modern boat built in Porsche Design holds her name and in doing so, it links an important chapter of regional history with the future of sustainable shipping on Lake Zell.
