Schmitten Easter Egg Hunt 2026
On Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026, the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See transforms into a playground for the Schmitten Easter Egg Hunt. Hidden in two snowy mounds in front of the restaurant Das Panorama are wooden Schmitten eggs – each containing a prize ticket.
The jackpot egg in the large snow pile is worth EUR 500, while the main children’s prize is a voucher for a Panorama Round Trip for the whole family (2 adults + 2 children).
All eggs must be dug out by hand – the hunt begins exactly at 2.00 PM!
Even before the Easter egg hunt, live music from Die jungen Zillertaler (JUZI) will set the mood: from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm, they’ll be playing a traditional morning pint around the “Das Panorama” restaurant, really getting the crowd going.
