Accessible cable cars and lifts on the Schmitten
Both the Schmittenhöhebahn as well as the areitXpress are accessible. At the respective valley and mountain stations, the staff will be happy to help you when entering and exiting the cable cars. Additionally, they can slow down the cable cars upon request. Particularly convenient: The cable cars have a wide entry that is level with the ground, which makes them easily accessible with wheelchairs.
And the best part? Both cable cars are open in summer and winter for you. You’re only a short cable car ride away from Salzburg’s most beautiful mountain panorama – no matter the season.
