Accessible cable cars and lifts on the Schmitten

Our lifts Schmittenhöhebahn, trassXpress, Sonnenalmbahn, areitXpress and zellamseeXpress are barrier-free accessible. You can reach the entrance level via a lift. At the respective valley and mountain stations, the staff will be happy to help you when entering and exiting the cable cars. In addition, th speed can slow down the cable cars upon request. Particularly convenient: The cable cars have a wide entry that is level with the ground, which makes them easily accessible with wheelchairs.

And the best part? Our cable cars are open in summer and winter for you. You’re only a short cable car ride away from Salzburg’s most beautiful mountain panorama – no matter the season.
