IRONMAN 70.3
in Zell am See - Kaprun
On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the IRONMAN 70.3 will once again take place in Zell am See - Kaprun. In our beautiful region 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running will be completed. Due to this major sporting event on this day road closures with restrictions on the arrival to our cable cars as well as to our panorama cruises and lake crossings are expected.
Lake Crossing
The lake crossing will not stop at the Seespitz/Schüttdorf landing stage from Friday, 28 August 2026 until Sunday, 30 August 2026. You can take the local Pinzgau train to commute back & forth between Zell am See and Schüttdorf (Tischlerhäusl).
The lake crossing service will operate from 9.30 am to 6.25 pm on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
