The connection to the Glemm Valley has been planned for years, now finally Schmitten takes the first step to the biggest connecting skiing area in Austria.

With the Ground Breaking Ceremony on the 14th of September the construction work officially started. The new descent will be finished for the winter season 2019/20. Waiting for skiers in Viehhofen is a modern entrance to the ski area with parking spaces, a bus connection, a sports shop, cashier area and information center. The 10 gondola zellamseeXpress lift carries 2,800 skiers per hour quickly and comfortably up to the mountain. There, at the mountain station you want to enjoy a unique view of the Zeller Lake and the surrounding panorama.
